The centuries-old olive and carob trees of the Olère farm have unveiled their “secret of beauty ” and prosperity: it is the union of many elements that allows to obtain the best fruits. Think of the sun, the soil and water of our Apulia, essential ingredients to give life to this wonderful landscape.
The ingredients of the Olère project are its people. They are workers, supporters, friends, relatives, who every day, with their help or their loving support contribute, together with us, to develop the idea of an innovative farm in Apulia, near Ostuni.
Following the example of our trees, we have joined to try to exploit the wonders that this land has to offer.
WHO ARE THE “AMBASSADORS” OF THE OLÈRE FARM
CARMELA
I am a mother and an architect. But first of all I am a woman form Apulia and I have transmitted my love for this land also to my daughters, Julia and Alexandra, and my husband Leo. My passion for architecture, however, is not at all appeased: with the project of the Farm 2.0 we will give new life to this landscape and leave our “great legacy”.
LEONARDO
I am an architect and a full time father. Since when I was living in Umbria, my native region, I nurtured the love of the land and that for design. And here I am today to share that love with my dearest family and friends. I’m the only man in the family. It is not always an easy thing, but it is a privilege to be surrounded by beautiful and determined women!
GIULIA
I will be a mechanical engineer. The Olère farm changed my life and my point of view, directing my studies according to the contribution that I can give to the business. I want to combine technological innovation and the development of environmentally sustainable and people-oriented farming methods: in this way I hope to become an example of the revival of agriculture among young people.
ALESSANDRA
I am the youngest in my family, a high school student in “study trip” to the US, but equally determined and enthusiastic in carrying out the project of the Farm 2.0. The majestic Apulian olive trees have always been an important reference point for me: they are among the best memories of my childhood; today they are our future.
